Links4lawyers.com is database-driven and does not rely on static html pages. This allows it to be rapidly updated and for links to be accessed in various ways to suit different users:

a-z buttons: display sites and categories beginning with a given letter of the alphabet
search: searches the site-name, the review and additional keywords our Editor has added to each site. You can use extra words to narrow or widen your search
The star system: Each site (excluding some requiring payment for access, and simple on-line brochures) has been graded according to the following criteria:
Useability; 20%
Presentation; 20%
How up-to-date it is; 20%
Content usefulness, breadth, accuracy, relevance to Lawyers; 10% each
The computer converts the scores to a number of stars from one to five, indicating:
Excellent site. Indispensable content, superb presentation and usability
Good site. Useful content, above average presentation and usability
Typical site. Content of some interest and average presentation/usability
Poor site. Little useful content. Uninspiring presentation and usability
Terrible. Little or no content of interest, very bad style and usability. Possibly out of date with broken links.

Content: This site tries to list sites of primary interest to Lawyers and Law Students. The many legal sites aimed at the general public are omitted.
It is hoped that the Editor's knowledge and experience as a solicitor has led to an optimal selection of sites as well as a level of understanding which makes the review of each site especially useful and relevant to lawyers.
Any review is an expression of the editor's opinion at the time the site was checked. Please be aware of the possibility that sites have improved or worsened since they were reviewed.
